EMC filters and chokes when you order a drive
A long motor cable over a sensitive BMS — an unfiltered drive makes 0–10 V sensors tick.
A bare drive is cheaper than a filtered one. Roof fan, 40 m of motor cable, a DDC reading a duct sensor below — the number ticks with the output frequency. The site changes the sensor. It still ticks.
Makers publish a maximum unfiltered motor-cable length. Past that: a line EMC filter, a motor choke, or both — same series, not another brand’s brick. Earthing the drive frame and the tray is part of the job. A filter alone does not forgive a floating panel.
State the estimated motor-cable length when you order. Size the drive
