Technical infrastructure and data centres

HTECH supplies equipment and advice for technical infrastructure, plant rooms and data centres: environment monitoring, power, energy, racks. The aim is to see temperature, humidity, leak, UPS and generator status — before the servers shut down.

Typical supply

  • Temperature and humidity on the rack or in the cold aisle
  • Leak cable or spot sensors under the raised floor and precision-cooling trays
  • Dry contacts from UPS, ATS, generator and precision cooling
  • Energy meters and BMS points when the file asks for electrical monitoring
  • Rack UPS, PDU and cabinets to the room layout
  • Plant-room door contacts; locks if they sit in the ELV package
  • Modules or protocol gateways into the BMS already on site

What an equipment contract covers

HTECH distributes equipment, advises on the point list and matches models to the live system. When the owner already has an infrastructure consultant, we follow that consultant’s point list.

Common buying mistakes

  • Domestic wifi sensors — lose the LAN and you lose the alarm
  • No leak point under the precision cooler
  • The UPS can be read, but nobody receives the alarm

Send the room layout, rack count, cooling and UPS brands. We propose the smallest point set a shift can still use.

Lines we put on the schedule

Leak sensors

Spot or cable; dry contact to the DDC.

Rack UPS

VA from the real load; runtime as specified.

Racks

800 or 1000 mm usable depth for core switches and UPS.

PDU

Outlet count, phase, whether current goes to the BMS.
