DALI or 0–10 V for lighting control

When the file names DALI and when 0–10 V is enough. Match the driver, occupancy sensor and BMS.

“Dimmable LED” on a luminaire sheet is not a protocol. 0–10 V is one analog pair: a row goes to the same level. DALI gives each fitting or group an address — dim, driver fault, scenes — when the lighting file asks for that. Mix a 0–10 V occupancy head onto a DALI row and the lights stay “on”. They do not dim.

If the file says DALI: DALI drivers, a DALI bus, a bus supply. If it says 0–10 V: 0–10 V drivers and a controller with an analog output. The occupancy or daylight head must speak the same standard as the driver. Do not buy one “lighting control pack” and hope.
