Occupancy and daylight sensors for lighting
PIR, presence and photocells: corridor off and dimming to daylight. Match the driver or DALI.
Three jobs, three sensor types
PIR motion: people walking — corridors, toilets, stores. A person sitting still may lose the lights. Presence: ultrasonic or dual technology — offices and meeting rooms. Daylight / photocell: lux at the window — dim or shed the row next to the glass.
One “lighting sensor” model for the whole building turns corridors off by mistake and darkens a meeting in progress. Match 230 V dry contact, 0–10 V or DALI to the driver. Lighting
