Modbus energy meters for a BMS
Branch meters before anyone promises savings. Modbus RTU or TCP, address map, CT ratio.
A meter the software cannot read is a display on a wall
If the file asks the BMS to show kWh, the meter needs a protocol the DDC already speaks — usually Modbus RTU or TCP — and a published register map. Write the CT ratio on the schedule. Do not promise “energy saving” before branch meters exist. BMS equipment
