Fire-alarm contacts the BMS should see

The BMS reads dry contacts from the fire panel: alarm, fault, test. It does not replace the fire panel.

Most files only want the building software to show fire, panel fault, and whether the panel is on test. Those are dry contacts from the fire panel. Release, bells and escape doors stay on the fire file. The BMS is a watcher, not a second fire panel.

Take alarm, fault, and test/silence if the panel has the extra contact. Do not feed 24 V fire voltage into a BMS digital input — an interposing relay if the voltages differ. One relay per contact, labelled, not a jumper “to be safe”.
