Signal cable for sensors and valves

Power and signal do not share one closed tray

A 0–10 V sensor next to a drive for tens of metres will jump. A 24 V valve sharing a supply with many others can stop mid-stroke. The schedule must name the cable — not just “control cable”.

• 0–10 V, NTC: twisted pair, short run, same technical floor
• 4–20 mA, Modbus: screened twisted pair, earth one end as the maker states
• Dry contacts: two cores, off the 230 V
